What it measures
- Coding time, last 7 days: a number. Hours of coding over the 7 days ending today.
- Daily average, last 7 days: a number. Hours a day over the last 7 days, counting only days with coding time, like WakaTime's dashboard.
- Coding time, all time: a number. Hours of coding since the WakaTime account was created.
- Coding activity: a daily calendar. Hours of coding per day over the last 30 days, or less when WakaTime keeps less history.
- Coding streak: a number. Consecutive days with coding time, up to today. Capped by the history WakaTime returns.
What it needs
Secret API key. In WakaTime, open Settings → Account → API Key (wakatime.com/api-key) and copy your secret API key. WakaTime has no read-only keys: this key gives full access to your account, including writing and deleting coding activity. WakaTime's read-only OAuth scopes can't be used with a pasted key. To cut Flexwall off later, regenerate the key in WakaTime (your editors will need the new one too).
Credentials are encrypted, used only to read these values, and never shown again. Remove the connection and they are deleted.
Tiles that can show it
Number, Trend, Bars, Steps, Goal ring, Heatmap. Every tile also appears on your share card and, if you like, on your iPhone lock screen.
Put it on your wall
