What it measures
- Portfolio value: a number. Trading 212's total value of the account, in its currency.
- Free cash: a number. Cash available to invest.
- Unrealised result: a number. Profit or loss on the positions held now.
- Return: a number. Unrealised result against what the positions held now cost.
What it needs
API key, API secret. In the Trading 212 app, switch to your real-money Invest or Stocks ISA account (not Practice), open Settings → API (Beta) → Generate API key. Tick only the Account data permission (the account scope), leave IP restriction off (Flexwall's servers have no fixed address), and paste the API key and the secret, which is shown only once.
Credentials are encrypted, used only to read these values, and never shown again. Remove the connection and they are deleted.
Tiles that can show it
Number, Trend, Bars, Steps, Goal ring. Every tile also appears on your share card and, if you like, on your iPhone lock screen.
