What it measures
- Portfolio value: a number. The total balance of every portfolio, valued in US dollars by Coinbase.
- Assets held: a number. Distinct assets with a positive balance across portfolios.
What it needs
API key name, Private key. In the Coinbase Developer Platform, open API Keys → Secret API Keys → Create API key. Under API restrictions tick View only, not Trade or Transfer: keys that can trade or move funds are refused. Under Advanced Settings pick ECDSA as the signature algorithm, since Ed25519 keys don't work with Coinbase's trading API. Paste the key name (organizations/…/apiKeys/…) and the private key.
Credentials are encrypted, used only to read these values, and never shown again. Remove the connection and they are deleted.
Tiles that can show it
